HOW and WHY to "HEAL THE SICK"
This is the true story of the dream that inspired this mission. Scroll down for an explanation.
Following a business setback in Clearwater Florida at age 40 in 1978 that wiped out 10 years of hard work my soul was asking God...what's going on here? I was led by the Spirit to read and study and think about the words of Jesus. This search for truth went on for several months. Finally one night I prayed to God to answer me just one question – are the words of Jesus really as important as He said they were?
The following morning I received a dream from God in answer to my prayer. Jim LeBeau
MY DREAM
I awoke with my hands high above my head. I just had the most wonderful dream. I was given a multiple choice problem to solve. At the top were the words MOTHER and BABY. Below were several choices that I was to choose from that would go with or complete those two words.
In my dream...in my mind...I searched for the right words to solve the problem. I did not find the answer. The answer was given to me. Suddenly like a bolt of lightning the answer was seared into my soul...MOTHER'S MILK. These were not my words.
I awoke with my hands stretched high above my head. I was in a state of ecstasy...bliss...a peace that far surpasses understanding...whatever you want to call it. After waking up I lay still for 10 or 15 minutes just enjoying the afterglow. I thought to myself...if heaven is like this it's wonderful! Before 1978 I never had one dream experience like the above nor any since. I have never woke up with my hands stretched high above my head except during the year 1978.
Pondering my dream - several days went by. The accountant for my business who shared an office happened "by coincidence" to give me a copy of his church bulletin. I glanced through it...still thinking about my dream.
Suddenly some words really grabbed my attention. My heart took a leap. It was a quote from 1 Peter 2:2...
"As newborn babies desire the sincere MILK OF THE WORD that you may grow thereby ".
This is called "confirmation". When you think you received a message from God the Holy Spirit doesn't leave you wondering. When scripture confirms a dream that you think came from God, then you knnow it came from God.
Imagine how I felt to realize that the words of Jesus are as important to someone born "in the spirit" as mother's milk is to a newborn baby!
My soul still reverberates from that dream. Since that day my mind and heart have been focused on one primary thing...how to understand Jesus. For that I have looked to HIS WORD. For the "fruit" of that process go to the "heal the sick" page on this website.
The reverberations from that dream continue to this day and will continue for many days to come.
Why would God use "mother's milk" as a comparison to the "milk of the word". Is mother's milk that important to a baby? Yes it is, and here is just one of the many reasons why.
ALL WHITE STUFF - cow’s milk…human milk…goat milk…horse milk…dolphin milk…pig milk…why not mix them up and raise a goat on pig milk, a calf on horse milk, or a human baby on cow’s milk? The confusion about what kind of milk to feed a human baby goes back about 150 years. But if we trust God and the word of Jesus, no reason to ever be confused. Now even science has figured a few things out. For example -
A BABY CALF - develops big strong bones first and a small brain later...maybe needing strong legs to run wild dog. Lo and behold, we now know that cow milk has the perfect balance of minerals and amino acids that helps a calf develop big bones first and a small brain later.
A HUMAN BABY - on the other hand develops just the opposite of a calf. A human baby develops a big brain and big nervous system first. The smaller bones come later. Wouldn't you know it...human mother's milk has the perfect balance of minerals, amino acids, and fatty acids that a human baby needs to develop a big brain and nervous system first with bone development coming later. That God of ours, He's not so dumb after all. There may be a thousand other reasons to give a human baby the food God created for it...but this is a start. For the mothers or mothers to be reading this it is important to note that...
YOUR MOTHER'S MILK WILL ONLY BE AS HEALTHY AS YOU ARE
Thoughts on wholeness:
"The earth is the Lord's and the FULLNESS thereof".
"And of his FULLNESS have we all received" (gospel of John)
What is this "fullness" or wholeness? It's the faith of a mustard seed to grow into a large plant. It's the faith of a society in a whole grain of wheat to make wholesome bread. It's the crystal beauty of a snowflake frozen on a windowpane. It's the wonder of a starlit night. It's the melody of a morning songbird. It's the fullness of mother's milk and a mother's heart and the joy of a nursing infant receiving both. it's the electrons spinning around the nucleus of an atom, and planets spinning around the sun.
It's a preacher expressing the fullness of the "milk of the word" from a pulpit, and a sheep or lamb receiving it in a pew.
"Bless the Lord O my soul, and ALL THAT IS WITHIN ME (my whole self) bless His holy name" - Psalm 103 - it's that too.
Beyond earthly things it's good to ask...what's all the wholeness for in the long term?
What if our wholeness on earth was to help us find our way to something much greater - oneness with the God Who is the Source of our life and being (John 17). If the Word and example of Christ lead us to fullness and oneness with Him and with each other, what's that worth? If it leads us to live wholly and to love wholly which fulfill the two great commandments of both Old and New Testaments, what's that worth?
But let's not get ahead of ourselves. To find wholeness or the "fullness of Christ" we need to get on a pathway to wholeness. We have to start somewhere.
How about starting with "incorruptible seed" - the words of Christ? With that thought and some time and patience just imagine that we can become whole by the same power that turns a seed into a tree and turns incorruptible seed into another kind of tree...the tree of life!
That wholeness idea...it works here, and hereafter. Is that a wonderful thought or what?
Are we ready for that kind of wholeness yet?
Ready or not - "Even so...come Lord Jesus".
How You Can Help
If you feel a call to wholeness or a call to give a helping hand to the Lord of life for the healing of America and the planet here is what you can do.
Click on the "heal the sick" link above to the left on this page. Read that page carefully all the way down. At the bottom of that page you will see what you can do. You can become a SOWER of good seed, just like Jesus.
The link to that page is www.phpower.org/page10.html.
A first order of business is also to "heal thyself" . The Kits offered on this website can help you to put in a foundation of personal wholeness for yourself.
If you experience rejection in the sowing of good seed...REJOICE! That's what Jesus said to do. That's how all the prophets were treated. You're in good company, and of course the servant is not above the Master.
Always remember - you may crucify a child of God BUT THERE IS NO STOPPING A CHILD OF GOD.
A message for pastors and priests -
WHY and HOW to "heal the sick".

-
A good shepherd cares about the health of his flock.

How to "heal the sick"?
- First do all things listed under HOW YOU CAN HELP above.
- The word "doctor" means TO TEACH. Teach wholeness. When you teach that God has a plan for human wholeness, you are helping to heal the sick. When you provide details on how that plan works you are helping to heal the sick.
-
"Prayer and fasting" as recommended by Jesus is a powerful tool for healing. Pray always, but before you promote the fasting idea to any great extent be sure to educate yourself on some fundamentals of body systems balancing. Fasting may cure, and it may kill. Learn what you are doing before working with this concept.
-
There is body and soul healing power in the WORD OF CHRIST. Why not put it to use?
-
The apostle Paul taught that the body is the "temple of God". We can abuse our bodies and overlook the abusing of bodies in hundreds of way. Some are things many of us do every day following a standard set by society. But we are called to follow a higher standard...one set by Christ.
-
Heal the sickening. It makes no sense to try to heal the sick without healing what makes them sick. This is both an individual task and a common task we share. .
- Teach that scripture has plenty to say about God's plan for human wholeness from Genesis to Job to Psalms 103 and 104 to the Sermon on the Mount.
- Warn of the dangers of walking through the typical minefield called a modern day food market where things that are sickening are bottled and packaged and camaflouged to look healthy and tempt you to abuse the "temple of God", which is your body. First learn and then teach the difference between what is wholesome and healthy and what makes you sick. It's not that complicated. If it's the way God made it, it's likely healthy. If it's been modified, it's likely sickening. For more clarity read THE REAL FOOD REPORT included in all Body Balancing Kits.
- If you have influence over a seminary curiculum why not include some studies of the organic wholeness of life including human nutrition using things made by God? Wouldn't that be appropriate for a merciful truth for mankind that is 100 % consistent with Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John?
-
Inspire your flock to get on a "Pathway to Wholeness" just as you are. Teach the "wholeness" idea as it relates to the whole person...body, mind, and spirit.
- We sing about the goodness of creation in our churches..."How great Thou art"...so why don't we live it and help others to live it?
-
Show the Lord you care enough about the health of your flock to teach them the truth about health and the health about truth.
